We had a week off of school. Can someone say…roadtrip!!  We headed up north to Casini Ranch for a few days. From there we spent a day at the campground and a day driving up Hwy 1 to hike Still Water Cove State Park.

The campground is fairly large with various offerings for sites and something for everyone.  We enjoyed a site at the far end of the campground near the river.  This was our view from the bedroom.

We were in site 65 which had water and electric.  The park was pretty empty in February. There were no campers near us and the kids enjoyed having the river to themselves.  We had one morning of rain and the rest of the time the weather was warm enough the kids didn’t mind the cold water in the river.
