After a year of research and 6 months of actively searching the west coast; visiting many dealerships and private sellers from LA to Seattle, we finally have our Airstream.  She is a 2008 27′ FB Safari.  She is in excellent condition, hardly looks as if she has traveled much and she is ours!!  Many thanks to Jason of Toscano RV Center in Los Banos for working with us.  We are happy to have found a dealership that will care for her over her lifetime with us too.

On the day we arrived to bring her home, we spent several hours at the dealership going over all her systems as well as how to hitch and practice towing.  The first ride home was thrilling and nerve racking as I watched the silver trailer in the tow mirrors follow us up and down the hills and around the curves.  In the future we would like to work towards finding a more powerful tow vehicle, but for now, I’m quite happy with how our Denali handled the maiden tow.

We are so excited to learn more and travel aboard this beautiful shiny rig. Here’s to a future of exploring, to being on safari!!
